The primary listing is in Copenhagen in Danish kroner. The New York ADR represents a fixed fraction of a Danish share and trades in dollars. This token is backed by the ADR. A duopoly in the largest drug market of the decade
Novo Nordisk and one American competitor supply most of the incretin treatments driving this category. In a duopoly the competitor's trial results and manufacturing announcements move this share almost as much as its own, which is why it reprices on news that never mentions it.
