What these pages are

Most of them read one perpetual market from the exchange at the moment you load it, and show the price, the best bid and ask, the spread in basis points, the funding rate, open interest and 24 hour volume. Two read a whole list instead: the funding spread between two venues across every market they share, and the most heavily traded open questions on a prediction market. Nothing is written into any of them in advance. If the source does not answer, the page says so and shows no figures at all, because a cached number under a live heading is worse than an empty space.

Why a perpetual price and not a spot price

A perpetual contract has no expiry, so it can be held indefinitely, and a funding payment between longs and shorts is what keeps it close to spot. That makes these pages more informative than a plain price feed: alongside what the asset costs, they show what it costs to hold a position in it, which is the number most price pages leave out.

Reading a figure from one of these pages

Every page carries the time it read the market, in the text rather than only in a caption. A price quoted from here is accurate as of that timestamp and stale afterwards, which matters if you are copying it somewhere or if something else is reading the page on your behalf. The pages refresh at most every five minutes, so a crawler is never driving live requests at the exchange.
