Read at 2026-10-01 21:19 UTC through our own keyless relay, and refreshed at most every five minutes. This is the price of a token backed one for one by the share, which trades continuously; it is not the exchange last trade. Any figure quoted from this page is accurate as of that time and not afterwards.

Earnings that depend on other people's activity

Advisory fees need deals, trading revenue needs volatility, and underwriting needs a market willing to buy new issues. None of that is under the firm's control, which makes quarterly results unusually hard to forecast and the share unusually sensitive to the general mood. A quiet quarter is not a weak franchise.

Volatility is revenue here, which inverts the usual reading

For most companies a turbulent market is a headwind. For a trading business it is the opposite: wider spreads and more volume mean more earned. That is why this share sometimes rises on days when the index falls, and why reading it as a simple bet on the market gets the sign wrong.

What a backed token gives you and what it costs you

An issuer buys the share, holds it with a custodian, and issues a token against it. There is an irony in holding an investment bank through a settlement rail it does not operate, and it is worth naming: you gain a continuous price and lose the vote, the dividend treatment and the absence of a counterparty.

The part we cannot verify

We read the token's price, its traded volume and the value of tokens in issue. We do not audit the custody behind it. The price was checked against the exchange's last close when this page was built and agreed to within half a percent. For the official price, use the exchange or a broker.
