Read from the Pacifica perpetual book at 2026-09-27 23:12 UTC, through our own keyless relay, and refreshed at most every five minutes. Any figure quoted from this page is accurate as of that time and not afterwards.

One business funds the argument about the other

Meta's advertising business throws off the cash, and the market's disagreement is almost entirely about how much of it should be spent on things that do not yet earn. That structure produces a particular pattern: long quiet stretches punctuated by a single repricing when capital-expenditure guidance changes. The realised volatility above, read against the seven-day chart, tells you whether you are in the quiet stretch or the repricing.

Buybacks make the share count part of the story

A company retiring a meaningful share of its own stock changes per-share figures without changing the business, and it also puts a persistent bid under the price during open-market windows. It is one reason a large cap can show a shallow seven-day range while the underlying news flow is noisy. The range-position figure above is more informative than the raw change on names that do this.

This is not the Nasdaq last trade

A perpetual has no expiry, settles in cash, and gives you no share, no vote and no dividend. It trades continuously, so it prices news that breaks outside US hours. For the official price use the exchange or a broker. The basis above measures how far this contract sits from the venue's own reference.

The part we cannot verify

Pacifica publishes the symbol, the book and hourly candles. It does not publish how the META reference price is derived, nor its funding interval, so the funding figure above is per interval and not annualised. Read the venue's terms before trading it.
